This week’s episode features Bruce Sheridan, Author, Certified EOS Implementer, and President of Life Compass, Inc. Listen in as he shares inspirational stories about his healing from childhood struggles and substance abuse, which in turn has helped him coach countless leadership teams and young adults. Bio: Bruce is a Certified EOS Implementer, President and owner of Life Compass and an award-winning author. His is a God-loving husband to Jan and father to Andrew, Nick, Mark and Charlie.
As a Certified EOS Implementer, Bruce implements the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) for family-owned and small businesses. His target audience is owners of privately held companies with 10 to 250 employees who are open-minded and willing to follow EOS. EOS is a simple, proven system that leads to increased profit, improved profit margins, less people issues, a healthier work environment and a business that runs itself. Since 2017, Bruce has been an EOS Worldwide equity partner, franchisee and Certified EOS Implementer. Since 2016, Bruce has served as President of Life Compass Incorporated, a 501c3 ministry. Bruce helps adults in their first decade of adulthood, 18 to 28 years old, plan and live a God-Centered, intentional and fulfilling life. As part of this ministry, Bruce wrote “A Well-Launched Life: How Young People Can Live An Intentional, Fulfilling Life.” The work is the recipient of the Literary Titan Gold Book Award. The Life Compass ministry offers free coaching to young adults. The vision is to write a companion study guide and design a curriculum for churches and Christian organizations to use to offer a course for young adults. Bruce graduated from Georgia Tech with a BS in Industrial Engineering and went to the University of Miami and was awarded a MS in Industrial Engineering. Bruce began his career at Florida Power and Light Company for 9 years. Next, he worked for a small family-owned company in Charlotte NC. After starting and running a small Management Consulting business for 4 years, he moved on to be a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt at GE. He was recruited by Bank of America and spent 11 years in various senior leadership roles. In 2008, when banks were laying off tens of thousands of employees, Bruce was caught up in the downsizing and was let go in April 2009. Bruce started his own consulting business again and worked with many clients including an 18-month contract with Barclays Bank working in London.
In 1984, Bruce accepted Jesus into his life. Since then, he continues to grow in his faith and service to God. He attends The Crossing Church in Chesterfield, MO. He enjoys volunteering and serving. He sits on the Board of Directors for Urban KLife St Louis. Urbanklife.com serves 300 to 400 inner city High School students annually.
Bruce married Jan in 1991. He has been blessed with four wonderful children who are now young adults. He has two grandchildren.

- Bruce was accepted to Cordon Bleu in Paris to be a Pastry Chef, nominated by his Congressman to the Air Force Academy, but he chose to go to Georgia Tech.
- He played a key role in helping Florida Power and Light win the Deming Prize for Quality. FPL was the first non-Japanese company in the world to win the award.
- While at Bank of America, Bruce spent 18 months on the leadership team that acquired MNBA Credit Card Services for $35 Billion.
- Bruce was a breeder of Labrador Retrievers.
